21 May How to get to the cities near naples
From Acquaviva you can easily reach, even on foot, the central station of Piazza Garibaldi, which is about 1km away. This train station is well-connected to the nearby archaeological sites of Herculaneum and Pompeii thanks to the “Circumvesuviana” trains, as well as the beautiful Sorrento Peninsula (which can be reached in a little more than an hour by train). Thanks to “Ferrovia dello Stato” you can also get to nearby Caserta to visit the world-famous Reggia Vanvitelliana in no time at all.
Being just a few minutes away from the main local transport hubs, our guests can easily take the bus or metro to Naples’ main attractions, including the Maschio Angioino, Castel dell’Ovo, the evocative via Toledo and Mergellina or the fascinating Certosa di San Martino. The old town centre, with the crib tradition of San Gregorio Armeno, Sansevero Chapel with the Veiled Christ or Santa Chiara Monastery, can also be reached on foot in about 20 minutes – have this stroll if you don’t want to miss some of the most well-known pizzerias and bakeries in Naples!
